A large meeting in favor of peace that was beiug held in Hyde Park was scattered by an immense Conservative demonstration. The London papers consider the peace conditions excessive, aud if enforced likely to imperil the maintenance of European peace. Lord Derby in replying to a question said that the Government had received no information coutaiuiug the peace conditions, and remarked if the Egyptian tribute to the Porte was demanded, it would reqirre serious consideration.
