Sir Stafford Northcote severely condemned any agitation which would docrease the prestige and influence of England, and concluded by asking the vote in credit and confidence. The debate was adjourned until Thursday. The San Francisco mail has arrived. The Rev. Staunton St. Giles has accepted the Bishopric o£" Brisbane.
