Mr Delamain's Templeton (Holland) ... 1 Mr o'LJrieu'sXautippe (Allen) ... 2 Mr Eraser's Equation (Clark) ... 3 Traitor and Parthenopoeus also ran. A false start occurred, in which Parthenopoeus, traitor, and Equation went the whole distance before they found out their mistake, n lushing in the order named. At the next attempt they got away well together, but iemp.eton soon went to the front, and won in a canter. Time, lmin. 15secs.

Shortly after the Derby Race (the result of which our correspondent has omitted to forward) a heavy hailstorm set in, the hailstones being the size of small beans. The start for the C.J.C. Handicap waa delayed. The weather promises to clear up shortly.
