Sydney, Tuesday. Mr Stewart is still engaged in the formation of a Ministry. It is expected that he will not succeed. Melbourne, Tuesday. The National Agricultural Society have passed the following resolution: — " That the importation of live stock from countries outside the Australian colonies leads to the introduction of disease, and should therefore be wholly prohibited." A deputation has been appointed to wait on the Government in reference to the subject.
