Mr Pitt appeared for plaintiff, and Mr Bunny for defendant By consent an order was made that defendant should give up possession on or before the 3 1st instant. Defendant ordered to par costs. J A lecture which promises to be of an unusually interesting character will be delivered at Wakefield on Wednesday evening by the Rev. J. Leighton, the proceeds to be devoted to reducing the debt on the parsonage. The subject will be the experiences of the reverend gentleman in India during the mutiny. A sale of work in aid of the fund for building a room for a Sunday school in connectiou with All Saints Church, will be held at the Provincial Hall to-morrow evening There will also be a Christmas Tree, containing a large number of beautiful and useful articles, specially purchased in London for the! occasion. The purchasers of tickets may depend upon getting full value for their money.
