[Per Albion.] . Melbourne, July 11. Parliamentary business is unimportant. The Budget will not be delivered till the end of the month. Lieut.-Colonel St. Hill, formerly A.D.C. to General Cameron, has arrived as Private Secretary to Governor Weld. Dr Sommerville's lectures are attended bylarge crowds. Recently over 2000 persons m one night were unable to obtain admission. The revenue of the colony for the past year amounted to £4,514,121, showing an increase of £188,96-. on the previous year. . Sir Wm. Jervoia has been seriously indisposed, but is now recovering. The Government are arranging for a Cape route mail service, and have re-opened negotiations with Green of the Blackwall line. Oats are very firm, and extreme rates are obtained.
