The Wanaka left Wellington at 1 p.m. today and will return to-morrow with the Nelson members of Parliament, which is to be opened on Thursday. Mr. Ashcroft's lecture on "Russia, Turkey and the War" will be delivered st btoke this evening. A special train will leave town at seven o'clock, returning at the close of the lecture. The train will also run as far as Richmond. An error occurred ia the advertisement which appeared in last night's Mail with reference to the All Saints' Bazaar, which is to take place on Friday next, not on Monday as originally notified. A teleoeaph notice which appears elsewhere states that the Penang cable is broken Inis, however, doe 3 not put a stop to communication with Europe, which can be effected by way of Rangoon.
