Steeplechase: Cheroot, 1; Maggie Moore, 2; Orion, 3. Markets: Case brandy, 31s 6d; quarters, 8s 9d; kerosine, 2s 8d to 2s 9d; Adelaide flour and wheat still firm; 20,000 bushels Adelaide were sold on Thursday at 6s 4.^-d, highest quotation 6s 9d. Shipments of New Zealand wheat to hand are very inferior; no New Zealand oats in the market. Barrett's £wist, Is sd; Black Swan, Is 6d; sugar unchanged; Belmont sperms, 10id to lid.
