HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

The; Provincial Hall was crowded to excess during the whole of the time it was open; to the public last night, not Only the body of the Hall, but the galleries as well being filled to overflowing. In addition fo the flowers and other exhibits, , there was. a considerable attraction afforded by . the music, the Nelson string band playing at- ' intervals, besides which several amateurs performed on the piano; and took part in glees, choruses, &c It is very satisfactory to find that the interest taken in these Shows is becoming much more general, a3 was evidenced by the fact that the number of exhibitors was far larger than bo any previous occasion, between 95 and 100 having sent in exhibits of ojie kind or another. The Hall was thrown open for an hour to-day free of charge to children, of whom it is unnecessary to'- say that . a con- ' siderable ' crowd availed themselves of the opportunity. The Show will be open to the public again this evening, when there will be music and singing as last night, and no doubt the attendance will be equally lafgei Additional prizes having been offered for cut 'flowers sent in fresh this morning, there is a totally, new exhibition of roses, and a large number of additional bouquets,- some of Which display a considerable amount of taste on the part of those who made them up.
