GuEYiMOUTii, Wednesday. A public meeting has been- held here, at which, it was decided to start a Company to ' lay «i tramway from Gre3'tnouth to Kumara. A flying survey has been made, and the distance found to be fourteen miles, as against twenty-two inilcs by the present road, which is very hilly. . The capital of the Company is to be £5,000, and an offer has been already made to construct the' tram for £'550 per mile. An offer has also been .made to lease the tram for five years at £100 per annum.
