General indignation is expressed at lriekett's treatment by the Tyne men, who induced him to forego his visit to Philadelphia in order to meet Lumsdeu, and then foi failed -Legal proceedings are suggested, and a testimonial to Trickett is proposed. Wheat is firmer. New Zealand not quoted ihe mails via Brindisi were delivered on the 28th August.
