Friday. After the discussion last evening arising out of the fact that the ministerial announcement had not been made by Major Atkinson as soon as the House met, he expressed his regret that he was unable to make to the House that definite statement he thought he should have been able to do. He said, however, tbat he had obtained the consent of a number of , gentlemen.. ready to. form a Government, their names being;— Mr Whit'aker Sir D. Maclean Dr. Pol en Mr Richardson Mr Bowen ■ ■ Mr Ormond Mr John Hall * Mc George McLean The House thtn adjourned until Monday at 7-30 p.m.
