A man named James Nelson fell off the Corporation wharf at Wanganui on Thursday last in a fit and was drowned. He was seen to fall over but sank at once, and as a heavy current was running at the time his body has not been recovered. Deceased was at one time a seafaring man, but had given up the sea on account of being subject i to fits.
