Dolaciore delivered an interesting ond well prepared lecture on "The English; Language," at tho Baptist schoolroom,- lest night. The chair -was taken by the President of the Young Men'a Baptist Mutual Improvement Society, and there was a good attendance. A collection was made on behalf of the Hamilton Relief Fund. As entertainment in connection with All Saints' Church will be given at the Masonic Hall on Monday eveniog. It will consist of instrumental and vocal music, and a short spelling bee, in which the ladiea will be pitted against the gentlemen, which will doubtless afford a considerable amount of amusement. The Rev. J. Beckenham t.31 deliver a lecture at the Spring Grove schoolroom on Tuesday evening next, on a Bush life in New South Wales.! 1 Having had the pleasure of hearing this lecture in town, we can recommend our country friends to avail themselves of the opportunity to be afforded them of spending' a really pleasant evening.
