Government Notices. NEW ZEALAND TELEGRAPHS. SECTION I. mENDERS are invited for the SUPPLY X and DELIVERY of Eight Hundred (800) TELEGRAPH POSTS, more or les», between Richmond und the Junction of the Buller and Top House Roads; and for the Delivery of about Sixteen (16) Tons of Wire and other Telegraph Material. The general course of the line will be along the Railway line from Richmond to Fox-hill, and near the road by Fogden's, through the Big Bush to junction of the Bu'ler and Top House roads. Poles to be fawn from the heart of Totara, to be perfectly sound, straight, and free from sap, shake, loose knots, or any other defect. The greater number of the Poles (o be each Twenty (20) feet long, the remainder to be each Twenty-flvo (25) feet long, all to be Eight inches square at the butt, and Six (6) inches square at the top end. Poles to be delivered along the line fit pegs, following the general course above indicated. The wire and other material to bo taken from Nelson, and to bo delivered nt pegs, according to a list that will be furnished to the contractor. The above works to he completed by the 31st day cf July, 1875. Tenders to state price per pole of each kind, and price per cwt fordelivery of material, and to be accompanied by a deposit, equal to 20 per cent of the value of the tender, which sum will be held as security for the due perI formance of the work within the stipulated time, or wil be forfeited should any contractor refuse to take up his contract. The general course of the Hue will be along the road by "Roundhill," "Devil's Glip," and down the right bank of the Buller river to the Long Ford.
