MOTUEKA WHARF.

To thb Iditor op the 'Evening Mail' Sir — Having occasion to be at the wharf here to-day, I was surprised to see i< (especially tbe lower end) in such very bad repair, so much so that a lady mt-t with an accident by tbe breaking of one of the covering planks. Surely there must be great negligence on the part of some ooe in allowing a public work to remain in such astate. What is our senier M.P.C. about that he does not see to it ? I suppose he is now reading up for the next event, and bas neither eyes nor ears for aoy thing else. Yours, he, Observer. Motueka, February 24.
