To the Editor op the 'Evening Mail.' Fir— Before leaving Nelson, would you allow rae through your columns, on behalf of the Wellington crew, to thank the inhabitants of Ne'son for the very kind treatment we have received ut their hands, both on shore and afloat; and also to thank the owners of the Clio, Phantom, and Colonist for the manner in which they came forward anil placed their boats at our disposal.
