The competition for the gold medal preaentei to the Artillery Company by one of the member e, took place at the MMtai Butts this morn'ng, when Gunner Nicholson proved the victor with a score of 5 1 points. The ranges were 300 yarde, target 6 by 4 feet; 400, 500, and 600 yards, target 6 by 6 feet; five shots at each range; position,' Wimbledon. The following are the scores: — %
