RIFLE MATCH.

A Rifle M<toh took place on Boxing Day afc the Maitai Butts between the Town and Country Volunteers, fifteen men aside. The Town were victorious by IG points. The ranges were 400, 500, and 600 yards, target 6x6 feet, position any, seven Bhots at each range. On leaving the 400 yards range the Country were two points ahea J, and at the 500 yards range increased their lead to 15 points, but at the lass range they fell off considerably.
