I O. R. — A meeting of this Order will be held this evening, at 8 o'clock, at the Temperance Hall, when the election of officers will take place. DKAJ-ATIC Er.TEBTAI.ME-T. We remind our readers of the entertainment to be given tbis evening by the City Rifles Dramatic Company. It wiil consist of the roelo-draroa entitled "The Charcoal Burner," and the burlesque of ,s Robinson Crusoe." Wesleyan Church. — Missionary addresses on Samoa and the new mission to New Britain nnd New Guinea will ba delivered at the above church this evening by the Rev G. Brown, who has for fourteen years been a resident in Samoa, and a native teacher. The meeting is likely to be more tban usually interesting. Pbizb Medals. — There are exhibited in Mr Harling's window two siirer medals, to be fired for by the members of the City Rifles. One of these, which is tbe Company's medal, is in the shape of a Maltese Cro3B in a ring, with a gold centre-pieco, on which are two cross rifles aud the words " Nelson City Rifle Company." The other, presented by a member of the Company, is also a Maltese Cross, having in the centre, in gold, a rifleman in the attitude of firing from the knee. They were made by Messrs Harrop and Neill, of Dunedin, and tbe workmanship is of the neatest possible description. St. Maby's Boys* Orphanage. — Another prise, which will complete the list of the 200 prizes, and which to bibliographers is as valuable, if not more, than tbe first prize, tbe piano, has been kindly offered by Mr Broad. It consists of a large volume in folio, containing tbe fuli and complete history of Capt. Cook's voyages (edition of 1780) with all the original illustrations. This work, nearly 100 years old, is very rare, and therefore mosl valuable. The general drawing, which is to take place to-morrow, at 7.30 p.m., at St Mary 'a Girls' school, will decide upon the fortunate winner. The prizeß will be exhibited to-morrow , from 10 to 4, and the drawing will take place at 730 p.m. Entrance fees, Is, for visitors who are not furnished with an art union ticket.
