Before the Cyphrenes left San Francisco, a meeting of the Pacific Mail Company conridend the proposal to place the two steamer?, Vasea de Guna and Vancouver, on the trade from San Francisco to Honolulu, Aucklaud, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, returning via Port Chalmers along the New Zealand coast, the steamers to fill op, when other cargo was not procurable, with coals. The proposal will be further considered after tbe arrival at San Francwco of the two steamers for th_ Company which were expected from New York.
