The Governor's Levee. — His Ex. cellencyheld a' levee at tbe Provincial Hall tbia afternoon, the Artillery Company furnishing a guard of honour. In addition to his Honour the Supetintendent, and members of the Executive, Judge Richmond, his Worship tbe Mayor, the Resident Magistrate, the Bishop of Nelson, and several of the clergy, and the members of the General Assembly, who received invitations to the private entree, the following gentlemen attended -.—Messrs. Christchubch Exhibition. — The medals and certificates gained by Nelson exhibitors have been received, and may be seen at the Provincial Government Buildings. The medals, especially the silver one which bas fallen to the lot of Messrs Webley Brothers, are exceedingly handsome, and the winners may well be proud of them. The names of the successful exhibitors are as follows : — Silver medal and first class certificate, for woollen goods, Messrs Webley Bros.; bronze medal and certifi-wto, R. The above are ready for distribution, and may be obtained on application at the Superintendent's ofiice.
