Staverfc and Co. wns held at the Court House this afternoon, thg Registrar of the Supreme Court in the chair. The following appointments were made: — Mr J. R. Mabin, trustee ; and Messrs Sharp and Beatlie, supervisors. The meeting then terminated. Permanent Building Society, — The monthly meeting will be held this evening at the usual place aud hour. Abtizans' Association. — The rNelson Artizans will to-morrow evening repeat the performance of last Tuesday. The receipts will be handed over to the widow of the late Mr Goddard. We hope to see a bumper house. Wakefield.t— Our country readers are reminded of the concert to be given at the Lower Wakefield School-room on Friday evening next, in aid of the widow and orphans of the late Richard Savage. No trouble has been spared in getting up the concert, and it is hoped that the promoters will have the pleasure of handing over a handsome sum to those whom they desire to assist. .■ . ; -.:■_■
