Sir, — The letter I wrote a few days since, suggestive of a concert to be given on behalf of Mrs Campion and children, has had its effect, for I see by the papers that the Artizans intend giving an entertainment, the proceeds of which a.re to be applied to her sole use. The musical amateurs have been so slow in answering my appeal, with one exception, tbat the Artizans are in tbe field in force, I admire the promptness of such a welldeserving cause, I see that the Government intend importing new blood, a commodity much required. It is to be hoped that the intended " scheme" for immigration will land such a number of new faces amongst us as will break through cliqueism, and thus enable charitable intentions to be carried out.
