SUPE&INTENDENCY ELECTION.
The following additional returns have been received:—
The whole of the official returns have now been received with the exception of those from the Lyell and the Matnkitaki, and the numbers stand at present: — Curtis 1608, O'Conor 1241, leaving a majority for Mr Cartis of 367, which will probably be reduced to 300 by the polling at the above-named places.
