The money was divided as follows: —Expenses £60, Christ Church Parsonage £60, Clifton Church £70, total £200. Dinn'ru to Mu. The cloth having been removed, and the customary loyal tonsts druok, Captain Pitt, who occupied the chair, rose and said that, bo scarcely knew which was the greater of the two, his pleasure or his regret ot having to propose the toast of tbo evening. Sincere pleasure he certainly did feel at having sn opportunity of testifying to the high estimation in which i,e held ihe gentleman to .do honor to whom they had met, but he also experienced the greatest regret at having to bid f .rewell to one who had done so much for the Company. His own duties had been greatly lightened/ by the willing assistance he had received from their Sttcreterjlf and he would propose the health of Quarter-Master Sergeant Garrard as a good volunteer, and one who had the iuterests of the Compuny at (leart.
