[By Electric Telegraph.] -The nomination of candidates for -the representation of this district in the Provincial Council took place at Richmond at noon to-day. The Returning Officer having read the writ, Mr Barnicoat was ~ proposed by L Mr Harkness, and seconded by Mr; Oxley. : - JMr F, Kelling was proposed by -____Cr Oxley, and seconded by ]ty_r Lankow. (T ;, MrAlfred Harley wag proposed by. Mr Rowbotham, and seconded by Mr Tidd. \ The candidates having, addressed the electors, the show of hands was taken with the following resuit:— ■ . .-...
