The Supebintendenct. — The nomination'of candidates for the Superintendency will take place at the Provincial Hall, tomorrow, at noon.

Postponement, — Ifc will be seen by advertisement that Mr Curtis has postponed the meeting he purposed holding at Stoke this evening.

Abtizans' Association. — At a numerously , attended .meeting of the Artisans' Association held on Wednesday evening, Mr T. Watts wasi unanimously elected president in the place of Mr Bond, resigned. *

The Volunteees. — Last night the town companies met at the Botanical Gardens and went through some of the move* merits which are intended to be performed on Monduy at the inspection which is to fake place under the Hod Major Richmond, C.B. A gun detachment from the Artillery will fire a royal salute at noon, in honor of the Prince of Wales. The Artillery band made their first appearance last night in their very neat uniform, and we must congratulate bandmaster Oakey upon the efficient and excellent playing of the band. The Artillery company intend having a Church Parade on 'Sunday morning and will proceed to All Saints' Church, the Bev K. J. Thorpe being their chaplain. We understand that the sale of tickets for the Ball to take place on* Monday evening is proceeding very satisfactory and ifae stewards have every reason to to calculatea very successful affair. It is intended that the Artillery band shall play all the dance music.
