WESLEYAN CHURCH.

The usual quarterly congregational tea meeting in connection with this Church was held in tho schoolroom, Hardy-street, last evening, when a large number wers present. After the tea, there was a public meeting, presided over by the pastor, the I?ev, T. Buddie. The chnirman delivered an interesting address, and Mr R. Lucas, circuit steward, rend iha following balance sheet in connection with the late sale of needle work, fancy articles, &c.:~~ The Treasurer in Account with the Ladies' Sale of Needlework, &a. RECEIPTS.

The following resolution was proposed, seconded, anr] carried by acclamatiou : — That the cordial thanks of the circuit stewards and office-bearers are due, and are hereby presented, to those ladies who by (heir needlework and other gifts so largely contributed suitable articles for the sale in aid of tue circuit funds; and also to those friends of othev denominations who have rendered assistance. Several friends addressed the meeting, and the choir, under the leadership of Mr J. Garrard, greatly contributed to the evening's enjoyment. Miss Buddie presided at the harmonium.
