(Before L. Broad, Esq., R.M.) Tregea v. B ate helor. —This was an action to recover the sum of £12, the value of & dog alleged to have been shot by, or at the instigation of, the defendant. Mr Acton Adams appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Pell for the defendant. Evidence having been taken at some length, his Worship said he should reserve judgment till Monday. Patterson v. Simpson. Action to recover £14 4s 4d. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs, 19s. Cotterell v. Pike. Action to recover £8 13s for medical attendance, &c. Judgment for amount claimed and costs. His Worship said that where medical men were plaintiffs they should always be prepared to prove that they were registered in New Zealand, as their mere assertion that they were so was not sufficient.
