Wool has shown a slight decline from the highest rates during the past week, owing to a relaxation of foreign competition. The Antwerp sales commenced on the sth instant with animation, and showed a penny advance. Balme & Co report that combing sorts are 2d or 3d above the price paid at the close of last series, and clothing Id to l§cl; scoured clothing barely |J better; and lambs' a shade dearer. Cross-breds are unchanged. Fifty thousand bales remain unsold. The sales close on the 16th instant.
