COLONIAL PRIZE FIRING.

This Day. Tbe first event in the programme for to-day was the Skirmishing Match, , for which, the first signal was drawn up in skirmishing order at a little after 9 o'clock in the neighborhood of the 200 yards' range, where they fired for two minutes, retired about 50 yards, fired again for two minutes, and then advanced about 100 yards, where they fired until the ten minutes allowed by the regulations were completed. The following were the scores made. Skikmishing- Match. Target 6 x 2 'feet, centre 2 feet across.
