CRICKET.

0 COLLEGE V. UNION. A match was played yesterday in Victory Square between the Union (Towd) and College Clubs. The College eleven were sent to the wickets first and succeeded in running up a score of 60, which was considered satisfactory until their op onents showed that tbey were not to be disposed of with less than 80 runs. Nowise disheartened, the College played well and plmkily in their second ionings, and contrived to obtain 112, the - byes assisting them to the extent of 18. Thus the Town men, when they went again to the wickets had tbe formidable number of 93 to get to win. The game, although the play was not first- clae6 3 was a well-contested one, and at one time when Kempthorne and Cross got iheir eye on the ball in the second ionings, and appeared to knock it about as they pleased, it looked rather badly for the boys, but eventually, as will be seen by the score, it terminated ia their favor by 27 runs.
