PARLIAMENTARY.
Wellington, September 11. Tbe Speaker stated that he had received from Mr. Gisborne his resignation of his seat for the Egmont district. Mr. Stafford announced that his Ministry was not yet complete, but that Mr. Gillies would be Treasurer, Mr/Reid Minister for Public Works, and that Mr. Curtis and Fitzherbert would be members, but had not yet had portfolios allotted to them. Mr. Sewell would represent the Government in the Upper House. Other Ministers would be added, including at least one Native member. Those of the Superintendents who had joined the Executive would resign their Superintendencies at or before the end of the session. An Imprest Supply Bill for £70,000 was passed through all its stages, and the House then adjourned until Friday next, when Mr. Stafford has promised to make a statement oi the Ministerial policy.
