NELSON BOARD OF WORKS.

Present : All the members but Mr. Fell. A rough draft of the annual report was laid before the Board. It was resolved that Mr. Carter receive the sura of £100 in part payment of his contract for sewage bricks, such advance not to vitiate, or interfere witb, the terms of the origiual contract. On the motion of Mr. Hounsell, seconded by Mr. Burn, it was resolved. "That the thanks of this Board, be accorded to the officers of the Board for the satisfactory manner in which they have performed their duties during the past year. The Board then adjourned until noon on Monday next, when the election of eight members under the new Act will take place.
