The Nelson Evening Mail. MONDAY, JULY 22, 1872.

Nelson Artisans. — Ono of thoso highly popular entertainments that nre periodically given by the Nelson Artizans' Association will be held nt the Oddfellows' Hall, on Friday evening next. Richmond Church. — On Wednesday next, the pretty litile Church of the Holy Trinity at Richmond will be consporated by his Lor ship the Bishop of Nelson. Intending visitors will see by the advertisement that every facility is afforded for tlieir being present at the ceremony. San Francisco Mail. — We underhand that, as the Phoebe is rot to leave Manokau for Nelson until the 3rd August, the Nelson portion of the mail has been 'forwarded iv the Nebraska to Wellington, from whence it may be expected by the first boat, which will probably bo the Wellington, on Sunday next, f-iRiciDiOKD Glee Club. — This club, which has been recently established at Richmond, intends giving its first entertainment at the Agricultural Hall, tomorrow evening-. The programme appears to be an attractive one, and the efforts of the young society will no doubt be encouraged by the residents in the neighborhood.

Steamee Wallace. — This useful little steamer, which hasrecently been added to Messrs. N. Edwards & Co.'s Anchor Line of Steam Packets, has proved herself to be an excellent sea boat, having crossed the West' Coast bars in capital style. She steams well, and when cleaned and painted is expected to fully maintain her reputation as a nine-knot steamer.

Oddfellows' Hall. — The Comedy and Burlesque Company comprising several well-known artisfs, in addition 10 the celebrated one-legged dancer, Sijrnor Doualo, will give their first performance at the Oddfellows' Hall this evening. The programme is an excellent one, the press in all parts of the colony speaks in high terms of the company, and a ono-legged dancer is certainly an unusual sight. These three facts combined ought to ensure a good house.
