A private letter says' that Mr. Reed, !nt.e navy constructor,' with Admiral Robinson and oihers, is forming a Steam Company for the Capo route. Arrived : Jane Cox and City of Melbourne. The latter broke down 600 miles from Sydney and returned under canvas. The City of Adelaide takes on her cargo on the 23rd inst. Sailed. — Hero, and Alic Bull for New Zealand. ! The Alice Cameron has arrived dismasted, having picked up the crew of the Bengal from Dunedia, which had been abandoned in a sinking condition.
