In Spain, Carlist bands are increasing throughout the kingdom, with cries of " Live Charles VII", death to Liberals." There is great excitement. Bo'sa's ministerial candidate was elected President of the Cortes by a large majority. Ten thousand insurgents are said to be under arms. Don Carlos, on his way to take command, will be shot if he is found in Spain. Government is preparing to suppress the insurrection. Advices from the frontier state that the Carlists have been victorious, and-captured Carbineers in two recent engagements with the Government troops, near Bilboa, in Biscay.
