CORRESPONDENCE.
*** We are desirous of affording 1 every reasonable l facility for the discussion of public subjects; but it must be understood that we are in no way responsible for the opinions expressed by correspondents. To The Editor oe the Nelson Evening- Mail. Sir, — Do you think that the chairman of last night's meeting meant to prevent people from asking Mr. Richmond any questions, or do you think it possible, that he, a M. H. R., can be so utterly ignorant of his duties as chairman, as to allow a meeting to be interrupted and dispersed like the one last night ? Surely it would not be out of place on such an occasion to propose, instead of the customary vote of thanks, a vote of censure upon the chairman. I am, &c, H. A. L.
