HEWS TO FEBUARY 22.

Bluff, March 21, 8.30 a.m. The s.s, Alhambra has arrived with the English mail via Suez. She left Melbourne on the 14th March, and transhipped the New Zealand mails and passengers from the mail steamer Nubia, at Port Phillip Heads. The Alhambra brings the following passengers. — For Duuedin : Captain and Mrs Marshall and son, Mr and Mrs M' Arthur, Messrs Campbell, M'Lean, Marshalls, L. Crawford. For Lyttelton ; Mr J. Cracrofc Wilson, C.8., Mrs Wilson, Mr and Mrs A. Sclanders, Mrs Bit tell, Mr Hurst, Mr Croft. For Wellington : Messrs D. Irvine, Gibbs. J. Cato, M'Fagden. She sails for Dunedin to-night." Ishmrond, a Russian corvette, arrived at Melbourne on the I,4th March, 74 days from Hong Kong. She has three pivot guns of 6in, bore. Melbourne, March 14.— The branch steamer Alexandria arrived at Glenelg at two o'clock on Wednesday morning, biit owing to the rough weather the mails were not land,ed till B*3o. The Nubia arrived at King Ceorge's Sound on the 7th Mirch, and sailed for Melbourne 'at noon on the Bth, and was reported off Cape Otway at noon to-day. London dates are to 26th January; telegraphic

to February 20th.' Galle dates to 22nd February, No passengers of note.
