The elections are proceeding. Another Minister, Byrnes, of the Public Works, has been rejected. Some few ministerialists are being elected. There is great excitement about the Tambaroora mines, and companies are being formed. News from the Fijis by the Quickstep says that the Ringdove and Coral of Auckland have been seized by the Government for an alleged sale of arms to tbe Natives.
