Friday, October 20. Present : All the members but Mr. Burn, and Mr. Fell. After some-little discussion, a resolution was passed to the effect that the Surveyor should include the Maori reserves on the Haven Road in the assessment for the year. Assessment warrants for blocks A. and C. were returned, and ordered to be advertised for inspection. Several complaints haviDg been made of the dangerous state of the mill-lead in Alton -street, the Surveyor was instructed to write to Mr. Campbell, nnd to inform him that unless-he kept it in better repair, legal proceedings would be taken against him without further warning. The Board then adjourned until Friday, November 3.
