Hokitika, October 6. The Tararua, Captain Hagley, arrived this afternoon at 5 o'clock, having left Hobson's Bay at 3 p.m. on Saturday. She experienced strong S.S.E. gales during the greater portion of the passage, and had to go half-speed for the first three days. She brings 16 saloon, and 34 steerage passengers, also "320 tons of cargo for all ports. Passengers : : — Mr. W. , L. JFowler, Mr, W. J. Cpates, Mr.S.'W. Alcorn, Mrs.i Pollock and family (3), Messrs. G-; Holmes, J. Carter, Watt, Brydons, C. J.Nairne, Mies Murphy, Mrs. Wood, and and Mrs. Belcher.
