Erratum. — In Mr. Augarde's Weekly Report, which appeared in our issue of Monday, for Commercial Shares "£18" paid, read "£l9 155." \ Caledonian Society. — We call atten- j tion to the first annual meeting of the Caledonian Society, which is to be held this evening, in the Temperauce Hall, at eight o'clock. Wangapeka Land Purchasers v. the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Nelson. — We understand that Mr. Acton Adams has been retained by the Waste Lands Board to show cause, to-morrow, against the rule nisi obtained by Mr. Fell herein on behalf of the Wangapeka Land purchasers. Suburban North. — Last evening the children of the two schools in this district were treated to an exhibition of the magic lantern by Mr. Thomas G-arrard (kindly lent by Mr. B. Crisp) at the Hillside schoolroom. Several parents and friends of the children patronised the exhibition. The small eutrance fee paid by them, is proposed to be devoted to the purchase of matting for the church.
