NOTICES TO CORRESPONDENTS.
" Ratepayer " has not complied with our rule that no letters can be published unless accompanied by the name of the writer; his letter therefore cannot be inserted.
No notice can be taken of anon3'mous communications. Whatever is intended for insertion in tbis journal must be authenticated by the name and address of the writer, not necessarily for publication, but as a guarantee of good faith.
Letters for insertion in the Evening Mail must be written upon one side of the paper only, and sent to the office before 12 o'clock noon, or they will not appear in tbat evening's paper.
