WHEREAS, by an Act of the Imperial Parliament, passed in the Session holden in the loth and 16th years of the reign of her Majesty Queen Victoria, cap. 72, intituled "An Act to graut a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent ot any Province established by the said Act, by Proclamation in the Government Gazette, to fix such place or places wilhin the limits of the Province, and such times for holding any Session of the Provincial Council, as he may think fit, and from time to time, in manner aforesaid, to alter and vary such times and places as he may judge advisable and most coLsistent with general convenience: Now th.rcfora I, the Superintendent ot the Province of Nelson, in pursuance of the power ■md authority in me vested, do hereby proclaim and appoint that the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL of NELSON shall meet at the PROVINCIAL HALL, NELSON, on TUESDAY, the 26th day of April next, at One o'clock p.m. Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province, at Nelson, this Twenty- fourth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
