Anniversary Fete. —We notice that sites for the erection of booths in the Botanical Gardens, on Ist February next, are to be sold by auction, at Mr. Elliott's warehouse to-morrow. Perseverance Gold Mining Company.—The balance of shares in this Company, reserved for sale at Collingwood, are to be disposed of at auction tomorrow, by Mr. Elliott. Old Biggs' Hone v. —This wellknown bee-fancier has, with a considerable amount of satisfaction, shown to us this morning, his first taking of honey for the present year, and certainly it looked most tempting iv the crystal jar, which, as its owner delightedly assured us, was the self same one that was placed on the Duke of Edinburgh's table. Resident Magistrate's Court. — Joseph Bradcock was this morning fined £1 and costs for being drunk and disorderly. An information was also laid against him by Mr. Watts, Inspector of Cab-stands, for damaging the drinking fountain in Trafalgar-street, For this offence prisoner was fined ss. and costs, and ordered to pay 55., the amount of damage done to the fountain.
