A re-hearing was granted in this case, and after evidence had been given at considerable length, the previous judgment was confirmed. This Day. Darcy Leigh and München Keenan were charged with removing the brass plate from the j shop door of Ernest Nehse, tobacconist. The offence was admitted by Leigh, bafc Keenan denied being a participator in it. P.C. Dixon, sworn: I was on duty this morning about one o'clock in Trafalgar-street. Hearing ' laughing and talking at the lower end of the street, I went . that . way and saw the two prisoners and another man going up the street. Shortly afterwards I saw Leigh drop the plate produced on the -pavement, opposite. Joseph's shop. The two prisoners went to the Mitre Hotel.
