District Prize Firing. — The second batch of men in the second district, fired off yesterday, Lieutenant Wales, who heads the list, malting 57 out of a possible 60 — a remarkable score indeed. He made four bull's eyes and a centre at 300 yards ; three bull's eyes and two centres at 400 yards; and five bull's eyes at 500 yards. — Neio Zealand Sun.
