D. Bailey, for which he was agent. Defendant pleaded that he was not responsible for the payment of goods supplied to the master of that vessel, but the Reneh considering that the acceptance produced was sufficient acknowledgment of the debt, «ave judgment for amoupt claimed, and costs 19s payable in a month, time being allowed' to enable defendant to communicate with the American consul in Auckland.
